I’m giving an open door house tour over at Joyful Life today! Drop by and take a look!
Our weekend was the first normal batch of days we’ve had in a few weeks. My in-laws graciously took our foster boys for a little while so we could have a break. We’re getting over the last vestiges of our stomach bug (it morphs into a cold by the end, which is…weird, right?) and took it easy.
My favorite part of this weekend was going out to dinner with my family at a local steakhouse, AJ Spurs. I used to go here for my birthday as a kid all the time, and I love going back whenever I get the chance. And believe me, I ate my heart out! It was the first “real” meal I’ve had since getting sick last week. Granted, we had to wait for around an hour to get a table (see picture below), but the food was worth it.
The coming weeks are pretty busy, so I’m glad we got a chance to recover and take it easy this weekend. Happy Monday, everyone!

Going back to old, favorite places is satisfying on multiple levels. Glad you are getting past the flu and may the rest of the winter be HEALTHY for all:)
