Inspiration: Closet Nursery for a Baby Girl

January 9, 2014 12 Comments

During a playdate with one of my friends and her three kids, she allowed me to take pictures of her baby girl’s nursery. Even though they have 4 bedrooms, one of them is the guest room downstairs. Since each boy has their own room upstairs and babies don’t really NEED a whole lot of space in their first year or so of life, she and her husband decided to convert their master bedroom closet into little bedroom! I’ve always thought that this is a neat idea, plus I’ve always wanted to decorate a girl’s room, so this was my perfect excuse to live vicariously. Enjoy!

Right outside this adorable baby room is actually their master bathroom!

Also, take a second to really soak this bathroom in. Isn’t it gorgeous? I’ll take one of these at my next house, thank you very much!

And let’s not forget the little darling who owns this space. I got to spend a good part of this morning holding her. She’s so cute, she makes my uterus hurt. I mean, c’mon.

That’s a closet?! What an amazing space (and so practical too… especially for those first couple of years!)

Thanks for sharing (and what a darling little girl)!

I love the creative thinking here. It is adorable, convenient to the parents, and perfect. My only question is, where are the parents keeping their clothes?

Seana, they’re super organized, so she was able to move all their clothes into two large dressers in their room. They also borrow a bit of closet space from one of the boys’ rooms 🙂
