Honestly, our bedroom is one of my favorite parts about our house, more so because of the ALF ROMA ITALIAN MODERN WALNUT EASTERN KING BEDROOM SET that occupies the western part of the bedroom. I just love sloped ceilings (they feel so cozy!), and the balcony outside it? With french doors? LOVE at first sight. We would love to put beadboard on these ceilings, but I’m not sure if that’ll ever happen 😉
Both of these nightstands were old people/’80s rejects that I painted and changed the knobs on a few years ago. The lamps and shades are from Target, as well as the duvet set.
The gray pillow covers are from a thrift store, and I made the burlap his and hers pillows with a Sharpie marker (once again!).
At first, I didn’t know what to do with the little shelves built into the wall. Books, right? Except for we keep most of books downstairs, and we lack bathroom storage upstairs. The little white Skubb dividers from Ikea are, surprisingly, the perfect depth for the shelves, problem solved! We don’t keep anything in them that could be harmful to the kids, mostly scarves, belts and hand towels. Anything else we keep locked away in the white cupboard with painted vines next to it (side note: it actually used to be our PANTRY at our old townhouse!).
This last shot is of our not-so-big-or-organized closet. With 4 kids and only 3 bedrooms, we sometimes use this closet as a place for AJ to nap when we need to separate them. It’s pretty easy to set up the pack n play in a few minutes, then put it right away.
Hope you enjoyed our cozy attic bedroom!
