That’s my dad’s nickname for G. It’s totally accurate. He eats and eats and eats, and would never stop if he didn’t have to. For breakfast, he’ll have at least 6-8 tbsp. of oatmeal (about as big as a bowl that I would eat!) plus nearly an entire banana! Most of the time, I don’t even mash it up for him, just put it on the tray and let him have at it.
And then the snacks. FINALLY we’ve moved on from expensive baby puffs and on to Cheerios. He can eat 2-3 cups of these in a sitting (he never eats them “one at a time”– instead, it’s “handful at a time”). Also, he loves to eat Ritz crackers. They are flaky enough that we can just hand it to him and let him bite.
And the variety. Last Sunday at our church potluck, he ate more from my plate than I did. Broccoli pie w crust, macaroni noodles with hamburger meat, BROWNIES (oh man, his eyes got huge when I gave him a small chunk of that…it was like the rest of the world faded away…definitely his momma’s boy). Last night, he ate some of my tri-tip sandwich. He still loves to be fed spoonfuls of salsa. And loves to eat lemons.
