Not that we’ve had any thus far in the season (lightning actually occurs mostly in the spring/summer) but I found this pictures online of a lightning storm that hit Dallas a few years ago. Since I’ve talked about the crazy bigger than life Texas lightning on this blog before, I thought I would post some pictures to give you an idea of what it typically looks like.

#3: Especially b/c lightning actually is travelling up! 😛
Great pictures though, Kelly!! I love TX lightning, and that shot w/ downtown Dallas is stunning.

those are really cool pics! we might get our first rain in forever this weekend! yay! (well, except for the whole mudslides thing) but i highly doubt there will be any cool lightening. though….i feel kinda childish for admitting it; but, I still kinda get scared from really loud lightening. it just makes me want to hide under the covers with coco and snuggle. maybe something like the terrible good–beautiful, but also truly terrifying… miss you guys and talking about Williams. 😉

Those are pretty cool pictures. I hope something like that happens at least once while I visit. And I’m with nyx there in anticipation of some Southern California rain at LAST!! The air is still nasty with smoke and the rain will at least clear it out a bit. Also, I haven’t heard anything about the baby… that happen yet?
