Last night’s Glee episode centered around “dreaming”. How could they resist putting Les Mis’ song, “I Dreamed A Dream”?
Amazing. Lea Michelle with her “mom”, famous Broadway singer from “Wicked”, Idina Menzel.
Or Aerosmith’s “Dream On”, with guest star Neil Patrick Harris?

Great choices, Kelly! I also liked the opening number with NPH and Schuster at the bar (“Sing On” or “Sing Me a Song, Pianoman” – sorry, didn’t take the time to google the correct name). Who hasn’t wanted to randomly start singing full voice with the jukebox? And, when your voice is as good as either of these two guys then you can pull it off. They managed to make if feel (mostly) realistic, like I could actually see people doing this, without it feeling like the story pauses for a song (like some of the other scenes sometimes feel; don’t get me wrong, still enjoy them, this scene just felt like it could translate into real life more directly). 🙂
