Vegan YUM!
Just tried this recipe off of, you guessed it, Pinterest. That site is the best “cookbook” ever! Anyways, this dish is completely vegan, and sooo filling. The avocado makes it so creamy, you’d almost guess it had milk or cheese. Best part? Only took 15 minutes to make!
Next time, we’re going to amend the recipe by adding some silken tofu for added protein. I used high protein noodles as well. I think we’d like to also add pine nuts! Fresh basil and lemon juice are a MUST!
Oh, and I’m not giving you all the recipe 🙂 You’ll have to join Pinterest and friend me!
Yeah!
SO cute. Whenever Gregory’s excited, he throws a fist into the air and yells, “Yeah!!” on repeat. He also says, “Numnums” for food now, opening and closing his fist over and over. Hmmm….I guess I’ve been using too much baby talk around him….
Also, he’s taken to THROWING objects. Yes, throwing. As in, “I’m done with my bottle. How about I see if I can SMASH it on the wall?” Why did I buy glass bottles again? Ah yes. “Evil” plastic.
In other news, we had our first play date today with a little girl who is a week younger than him. She was walking circles, all around him, sometimes using him for support when she lost her balance. I hope she inspired Gregory to do more walking! I kept joking to Jesse that G spent all afternoon getting pushed around by a girl 🙂
Currently, G is pushing Claire’s crate around the living room. She’s in it, so it’s a little heavy for such a small boy! He keeps grunting, as it’s kind of hard for him. Football player in the making? First, I guess we’d better work on not getting beat up by girls.
15 weeks
…as of yesterday.
I think I’ve been through a bit of a growth spurt this week. I’ve been getting the “shooting pain down the sides” thing again, which basically feels like I’m this balloon stretching beyond normal capacity.
And I think, in a panic, oh crap. I’m not even half way yet! If I already feel stretching, this is gonna be bad…
Also, I feel a bit cheated. I thought for sure that second baby, I wouldn’t feel stretching pains in my ab muscles like I did with G. Isn’t the stomach/uterus supposed to be all stretched out already? Pioneer baby, and all? This doesn’t bode well for labor. It’s like my body already forgot how to be pregnant…
