Seaside Lunch in Morro Bay

Sometimes I forget that we live only 20 minutes from one of the cutest beach towns on the Central Coast– Morro Bay. Since we had our friends in town, we decided to spend Sunday afternoon eating lunch on the pier. There are so many great seafood restaurants to choose from, that if you ever pass through CA, you really should stop in Morro Bay and check it out. There’s even a market to buy fresh fish to make for later! They bring all the fish onto the docks and place them in bins where you buy by the pound.

These were all photos I took with my phone because, although I brought my nice new camera, I left the SD card at home :( They turned out pretty great though, regardless!

Once we returned home from Morro Bay and watched the 49ers/Seahawks game, we finished off the night with a yummy steak dinner, complete with some Peachy Canyon wine.

It was a wonderful weekend with our friends. Gregory can’t wait until his little girlfriend betrothed friend comes back!

  1. oh wow! That looks fun – isn’t it funny how you can forget about things because you live within a short distance from it. haha.

    • It’s so true! I keep forgetting that the Central Coast is actually a vacation destination for many! We live here and forget how pretty and cute things are.
