My dad and I have a standing date every other week in downtown SLO, since it’s where he works. Usually, the boys and I head to preschool-story-time in the morning. Then, we kill an hour or so walking around looking at all the beautiful shops. Around noon, we meet my Dad for lunch.
I have lived in San Luis Obispo area for 75% of my life, but I never grow tired of how fun and busy downtown is. Super pedestrian friendly (to get some piano books, I walked from one end to the other with a double stroller), but lots of cheap parking compared to most cities.
