CA Vacation–Montana De Oro
Saturday was my father in law’s birthday, so we took a trip to the coast to eat at Morro Bay for lunch, then walk around Montana De Oro State Park. Most people think that the famous beaches around here are just Cambria, Pismo and Morro Bay, but they forget to visit Montana De Oro out in Los Osos. It’s worth it, if you’re ever in the area!
Here are a few pictures from our time. It’s so nice to have my Canon T3 up and working again!
William’s Baptism
Ever wondered what a baptism in the Orthodox church looks like?
This last weekend, we were part of the baptism of our fourth godchild, William. Normally, in the Orthodox church, babies are baptized within their first 2 months of life. Since our friends were waiting for us to move to Dallas, however, William is already 5 months old!
For long-time readers of this blog, you will notice that our “home” church in Dallas is the same exact place where we baptized our first godchild, Christopher, our second godchild, Lola Magdalena, our OWN son, Gregory, and our third godchild, Jonathan. This is a special place for us, to be sure!
Emily and David’s San Clemente Wedding
Remember when I told you that my brother in law got married last week (you can see the gorgeous engagement photos and cute bridal shower photos) ?
Did I mention it was on the BEACH? In one of the most beautiful beach towns CA has to offer?
Here are a few of the pictures from the actual wedding. You’ll have to wait a bit longer for the adorable photos of two very cute “nephew” ring-bearers.

Congrats to my new sister-in-law! Welcome to the Cone Family!
