Thank you for the reminder. Though I don’t deal with behavior this crazy, that doesn’t mean that my heart doesn’t need God’s merciful love toward my daughter just as much!

Hahaha, oh, believe me, he was. I collaborated with his biological dad and we agreed on no desserts or treats for a few days. He also has to go to bed MUCH earlier from now on in order to offset the exhaustion his emotions are taking on him. I think he does know his time with us is drawing to a close, his visits with Dad are getting longer and more frequent. We haven’t said anything though because we don’t even know all the details.

You are A LOT stronger than me. It’s obvious this little boy is acting out … you mentioned that it’s supposed to be tough at the beginning not towards the end, does this little boy know that his time with your family is coming to an end? has he acted this way before with other foster parents when he knows he will have to change families soon? The mom in me hopes that this little boy was disciplined because his actions were clearly out of disrespect for you and your family.
