Sundays are not only a church day, they are also my customary grocery/errands shopping day, especially since one of my best friends likes to take me along. Back in CA, Sundays used to be somewhat of a lonely day since we didn’t have a lot of friends our age at church– now, we are swarmed by 8-10 families, all of whom are either close friends already, or have the promise to be in the future. And then, after a short nap at home, I get to go shopping! Sundays are quickly becoming my favorite day, because I not only get to worship with the angels, but then I have good friends all around me. Kind of reminds me of what heaven will be like!
And if you are a Stay At Home Mom (or even if you’re not!), you know how much socialization means, even to an introvert like myself.

This Sunday was uncharacteristcally warm for Fall in Dallas, in the upper 80s. I needed something that would be easy to run after the kids in, scarf down burgers at In N Out, and then transition into afternoon shopping. All I did was switch out the skirt for shorts later in the afternoon.

Getting on a plane for CA in less than 5 hours! Can’t wait to visit my family (although I will miss Jesse, since he has to stay here and work).

Very cute, Kelly. Sometimes it is tricky to find outfits for warm weather that still look like fall… most of my shorts are very “summery” in color. Have a wonderful time in CA:)
