Sometimes you just see an item on the clearance rack, and you think, “these are a fashion risk I just HAVE to take.” My whole family decided that it would be a good idea to spend some of our vacation inside Spokane, WA’s Macy’s, and, lo and behold, they were having a 50% off clearance sale.
And I saw these spring floral pants. They are soooo soft, they feel like cheating, like someone allowed me to wear pjs to work. I’m very into Boho Florals lately, and so I decided to take a risk.
Especially when I saw that they were $8 (!!!). Marked down from $60.
And, because CA weather likes to mix things up, we went from all 95+ degree weather last week to low 70s this week. So I grabbed one of my favorite slouchy over-sweaters. Most of the classrooms I teach piano in are pretty cool to begin with, so I like to have some sort of sweater or shawl.

I love that when I walked in after work today, our 5 year old foster child came up to hug me and said, “Wow! You look GORGEOUS! Way to go!” Haha. My 5 year old approves. Success.
What fashion risks have you been taking lately? Are you loving all the spring boho florals out there as well?
