Wow. So, today, this happened.
What the what?
As it so happens, one of our good friends from Dallas (author of this amazing book) writes for the American Conservative. He got a copy of my article from yesterday and decided to publish it on his blog.
I am so honored, but I’m also extremely thankful. As I’ve been pondering the true events of yesterday’s story over the past week, I’ve been aching to share the story with anyone and everyone who would listen. I’m so glad that so many people have gotten to participate in our joy with these boys. Even our school’s secretary got a copy and sent me an email saying, “Thanks for the story, but now I have no mascara on.”
To think that, just 3 months ago, this blog was read by my mom and 3 of my friends is crazy to me. Blogs are a lot of time and effort, without much in return, but I love to write and I love to share stories with others, and I trudge on.
Thanks for reading along. I am so grateful.

Hey Kelly! I commented on your original post, but I went back and read it again today. Congrats on all the views! It’s amazing and should be shared with the world. I read it to my husband this afternoon, and both of us were left feeling kind of teary. We have a 15 month old and are hoping for another child, but your post has inspired both of us to considering being foster parents down the road. Just wanted to let you know that. 🙂 It’s been great connected with you through Hannah and Lena. -Andrea http://www.handandtheheart.com
